That is what we're here to do. I'm, of course, your host, John Campia. Good to have you guys here. And thanks so much for joining me on this Wednesday evening as we get together to chat about some stuff.

Now, just in case I didn't make it clear, the whole idea of open mic is really, it's just taken and talking about whatever you guys want to talk about.

I will let you know just when I'm about to turn them off for the evening. But for now, they are open. And yeah, so good to have you guys here joining me tonight. So I got it a couple of things I wanted to,

one thing in particular I wanted to talk about. Because, you know, Daredevil, season one of

Daredevil Born Again launched last night. And I loved it. I really loved it.

You guys know, and I talked about this before, but my big fear going into Daredevil was all that

stuff the showrunners were saying. Like, they go, we're going to have way more action. I don't like

hearing people talking. We want to see action, action, action. I'm like any idiot, any kindergartner, any fourth grader can just go, oh, just have lots of fighting and film it.

That doesn't make a show good. It can be a good part of a show, but it's not what makes your show good.

And I remember being worried, and I said on the John Camby show, I like, like, does this guy not understand what made the Netflix daredevil so good?

It was the talky, talky.

It was the drama.

It was the story.

It was interesting, rich characters.

So that when action did happen, then it had all that much more meaning.

And that's the thing I was worried about going into it.

Thankfully, I was, had all my fears alleviated.

The drama was there.

It felt like an HBO show.
