It's a little weird to be doing that under kind of apocalyptic circumstances but happy to be here nonetheless

Matt will get right into it obviously we can dispense with the pleasantries by how everyone should be

staying inside and if you can and you know

taking every precaution to look out for the people around you which you know we're all doing and we're all worried

about that with those disclaimers that I feel like we have to put in front of any time we talk about sports

right now. These have been somewhat apocalyptic times for a while for

higher education for a few reasons I know whether that's

population declines or or a lack of international students or a lot of debt something that we've been thinking about a lot of debt.

Something that we've been thinking about a lot is the way that the coronavirus is going to affect college sports. But I know that you think that to understand that downstream impact, we have to first understand the state of

play for colleges in general before the coronavirus pandemic even began.

Can you explain where you think American universities are right now financially and
