Hello, everybody, and welcome to the Total Soccer show.

My name is Taylor Rockwell, and it's a Tuesday, which means it's time to talk some major league soccer.

Here with me to do so are two fine fellows up first.

It's the man who has all of the answers about what happened at Inter Miami with Javier Maserano.

It's Joe Lowry. Joe, I'm so happy that you've held them for this exclusive episode. Yeah, I have them all. Stay tuned all the way to the end of the show, through the final ad break. And maybe just then you'll get to hear them. Spoiler alert, we don't know that much more than we did the last time we talked about this, but we're still going to talk about it anyway. Rounding out our crew today, it's the one and only Jeff Rooder. Jeff, Hama Zeruduias, has made his debut. He has gotten his minute. How are we feeling about Mr. Rodriguez? Worth every penny to them, I'm sure. I love the idea of like a post credit scene in a podcast where you like try to introduce like a new host who may or may not show up again in the future.

And then it's just anybody's guess if the show will change forever or be the same next week.

Total soccer show Doomsday. Is that what's happening here?

That's what I'm saying. Taking a page on a Marvel book. I like this a lot.

And I should say obviously that is not Hamas's debut or even his MLS debut, but I enjoyed how the camera lingered on him for his whole minute that he was on the pitch in a very like, look at him. There he is in all his resplendent glory. They didn't even need him, Minnesota, for their two-no win over Portland. We'll see if we

end up talking about that game on this episode today. First, Joe, I'd love to know what your

game of the weekend was, if you would. Yeah, the game I enjoyed the most, I think, although

there were a handful of really, really fun games this weekend. I'll go to Sunday, the standalone,

the dessert of the MLS weekend, if you will.

The appetizer was Vancouver, supporting Kansas City.

Yep.

The dessert was maybe a bit better overall on Sunday.

This was a 4-1 win on the road for the San Jose Earthquakes over LAFC.

The quakes are on a tear, folks.

And I think we can say definitively that this team is for real to one degree or another.

They have taken down some legit teams so far this season, San Jose, and they were really good in this game.

They were basically dead even with LASC in the first half. Neither team was finding a ton of breakthroughs.
