being a bit more of a layman on this subject, it'd be nice to get the man himself here,

so I could ask him some direct questions to help flesh out my knowledge and hope by proxy yours.

the whole structure of the video was a series of reflections and I encouraged these

topics to be fleshed out all the more so I was very flattered and

excited to get your suggestion for the stream.

Wonderful right so can I ask what inspired the reflection in the first place?

Yes, certainly. Regarding a lot of sort of the various accounts that I follow, other

youtubers such as semi-agog and academic agent have brought to the fore this idea

of what is actually as the relationship with the British Empire

and the global American Empire and essentially what responsibility does the British Empire have for enabling the American

Empire?

But because I am a historian of the 19th century and I've become sort of more familiar of early modern subjects and even medieval subjects, just a historian just

about these sort of subjects as various subjects peak their particular fancy. I decided to look at this from the beginning,

this from the earliest point of inception of a British Empire and trying to conceive of this idea in the round

because it's something unfortunate I can't give a clear answer to.
