This is Darari Lugones.

Latino USA producer Maggie Freling is with her in her living room in Brownsville,

one of the poorest neighborhoods in New York City.

It's the summer, and they're sitting on

the couch in front of them a large fan is buzzing and water is puddling under a

dripping clothes line strung across the room. It's 11 a.m. and Dari is half asleep in a robe and

underwear. She rubs her eyes as she talks about her younger brother

Edward. Oh look I found one has wrapping things so I could show you his music.

I call himself blue cars.

See how Valentin he is?

You know I'm saying it, that's the ways.

And this is his inspiration, little Rousie.

Like he just, I can't even listen to that man no more

because it's just like I get sad and it reminds me of him so much.

And he said when I get older I'm gonna be working with him.

And then yeah.

You don't find him here in the liver room no more, rapping, writing his rhymes and under that, that's weird.
