All right, Donald Trump went to China, and they talked about a lot of various things,

and lo and behold, some people are happy, some people are mad, some conservatives are thrilled,

some conservatives thinks it's a horrible betrayal.

What actually happened? Okay, well, let's talk about it.

Well, first of all, a couple of things that were interesting.

Let's kind of lay out what the main topics of conversation were.

So obviously, trade was a huge discussion out what the main topics of conversation were. So obviously,

trade was a huge discussion point between the United States and China because over the last

couple of decades, they've been massive trading partners. And the Chinese economy has largely

been somewhat dependent, significantly dependent, I would say, on American consumer markets.

By the same token, when Donald Trump came in, he immediate launched significant tariffs on China

in order to try to get certain concessions that he was able to get.

But there's always been tension there for a variety of obvious reasons.

So one of the big topics of discussion was trade.

And what's interesting about this is that Donald Trump just didn't bring over senior diplomats

or members from the department of,

you know, the Treasury or whatever. He brought over major CEOs, such as the CEO of Tesla,

the CEO of Envideo, the CEO of Apple. Why? Because all of these countries have either done

extensive business with China want to or could have a potentially mutually beneficial

relationship with both access to the could have a potentially mutually beneficial relationship with

both access to the Chinese economy from a production standpoint, but also from an emerging
