They took in large numbers they're having problems like they never thought possible.

When the President of the United States said this about the impact of immigration last year,

he puzzled Sweden.

It had taken in an unprecedented number of asylum seekers at the height of Europe's migrant crisis, 160,000 people.

But what had happened in Sweden last night?

Nothing had happened. The Swedes didn't know what the president was talking about.

When I heard what he'd said though, I thought, I know what this is about.
