Hello from Las Vegas. I'm Chuck Todd and this is the Chuck Todd cast. I've just come off

the stage from the ninth Democratic debate. Apologies if you hear some background noise.

Tonight was easily the most heated one yet. And the biggest source of fire out of the

gate was Elizabeth Warren, who named checked all of her fellow candidates and put her debates

skills to use. But will that dig her out of the hole she's in after a week finish and

neighboring state of New Hampshire? We shall see. Michael Bloomberg has been sucking the

oxygen out of the race ever since his entry and he qualified for the stage just yesterday.

Other candidates such as Amy Klobuchar have been itching for the opportunity to quote beat

him on the debate stage. Since they couldn't beat him on the airways, did she succeed? Well,

join me backstage or two great journalists from the Nevada independent, our partner, our

local partner here for this debate editor, John Ralston, who was also joined me in moderating

tonight and 2020 reporter Megan Messerley. Welcome to you both. John, no offense to your

eye, but I think Megan, you have the you have the cleanest eyes on this debate. John and

I were just talking when you're sitting up on that desk, it's amazing what you miss because

you're so focused. So he's going to ask you what are the three headlines, right? Let me

actually, John, what are you going to ask her that she's got a report tonight? Yeah,

what's the lead, Megan? Yeah, well, I have my notes right here. If you want to want to

take a look at them, there were a few things that jumped out to me. Obviously Elizabeth Warren

completely different debate performance from the one that we saw. I think a new hamster,

right? Going after her opponents. Yeah, on healthcare, you know, Amy Klobuchar, she was

very complimentary toward Amy Klobuchar in the last debate. New Hampshire went after her

several times in the climate change conversation and in the healthcare conversation, referring
