I've been traveling over the weekend so it's good to be back in the, well,

0:17.4

studio for lack of a better term in the office that I have here and man there's a lot to talk about but I'll give

0:26.2

updates on the trip I think later in the week or maybe early next week I want to

0:30.0

get to some Southern Baptist stuff and I'll get right to the point. The lots happened in the

0:36.1

convention over the course of two days and I think some significant things were either exposed or

0:46.3

or took place that I want to make some predictions based off of if possible and I want to draw some conclusions about.

0:53.4

So we'll probably do one more podcast

0:55.9

concerning Southern Baptist related issues.

0:58.3

1:01.3

He wants to come on the podcast, and so he's going to be scheduled soon.

1:04.4

I'll actually, it's reminded myself to get back to him later today to schedule that, but he

1:36.2

this but in some ways politically this may be one of the worst years for conservatives in a way in one way and so I'm going to explain in what way I think that is.

1:45.2

While also acknowledging, there are some really good things.

1:47.2

I was actually surprised to see the, I think it was 88% of the messengers

1:52.1

voted to kick saddleback out of the convention.

1:54.4

I mean, that's, I said I think in the last podcast, if it was 80%, that's a landslide and

2:00.0

that's a clear signal that the convention doesn't want the sort of thing Rick Warren is marketing.
