The J.M. Smucker Company has initiated a withdrawal notice.

Yeah, that would be a recall.

For select hostess ding-dong products,

say it isn't so, but it is.

Due to potential presence of mold.

Uh, yeah, mold and the hostess ding-dongs do not get along very well.

So apparently the recalled hostess ding-dongs were distributed to retailers across the U.S.

You can identify the impacted hosted products by looking for the following information.

The two-count hostess chocolate ding-dong single serves, and they give a UPC number. The 10-count hostess chocolate ding- single serves and they give a uPC number the 10 count hostess

chocolate ding dong with the u p c number the 16 count hostess chocolate ding dong family uh family pack

with the u pt c code so they also have best by dates of august 30th aug August 31st, September 1st, September 2nd,

and September 3rd of this year. The J.M. Smucker Company said that a mechanical issue

in the manufacturing process may have created conditions that could support the development

of mold in the product prior to the expiration date.
