When I look at J.J McCarthy,

who clearly struggled with his footwork and balance in the pocket at Michigan,

what I look for is to see if he's gotten better in that area.

Because for him to be a quality NFL starter, he's going to need to do that better and by the way he was much much better

at that and I give a ton of credit to Kevin O'Connell and his coaching staff and I

spoke to people in Minnesota and that's one thing they really focused on through

O TAs and obviously through training camp was his footwork and balance in the
