Good morning everyone and welcome back to another mornings with the masters where we devote

ourselves to the Lord daily with you. Good morning you guys. Good morning indeed. We're

picking up with day two of our better than normal devotional in the Bible app. There's a link to

that in the description if you guys want to follow along with us and as always I'm going to read

the scripture and Tori's going to prepare the divo. Let's do it. My words are getting tossed.

Anyways before I jump in I just want to say a quick thank you for all the sweet YouTube comments

you guys have left. Tori and I've been doing this divo for over two years and it's a lot of daily

devos and whenever it was just a podcast we could always hear what you guys felt about it and so

you know just some of the YouTube comments have given us a window into the impact that God is

having you on it just really lifts our spirits. I'm sure you've noticed that in the past episodes

where we feel invigorated by it. So that's just been really fun for us to check out and read

but I won't harp on that too much but if you do want to leave feedback if you're just listening

appreciate that. Absolutely. Anyways the scripture is Proverbs chapter three verse nine and it says

this honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce.

The devotional is titled money and it says this the world is full of things competing for our

attention everywhere we look we see things that seem to call out to us saying by me you need me

material possessions can lure us in so strongly that we start purchasing things that may not have

been on our financial radar and before we know it we're in a toxic relationship with money and

possessions and we don't know how to get out of it. This is normal living for many people.

This normal way of spending and managing our money doesn't leave us in a good place. For example

it's normal to spend every bit of our income and not save any money for emergencies. It's also
