Summary

Watch this quick video to find out which food has the most calcium.

In this podcast, we’re going to talk about which food is highest in calcium.

Cheese is the food highest in calcium. In particular, parmesan cheese is the cheese highest in calcium.

You can also get calcium from leafy greens, nuts, and seeds.

If you have a prostate problem, high estrogen, or fibroids, you want to avoid cheese. This is because too much cheese can swell the prostate, cause difficulty urinating, and cause frequent trips to the bathroom at night.

The benefits of calcium include:

• Bone health

• Preventing muscle cramps

• Preventing blood clotting

• Supporting your cellular membranes

Without calcium, you can develop holes in your cell membranes and cause fragility. Calcium regulates the resealing mechanism in the cell membrane.

The problem is, if you have chronic inflammation, calcium can build up in your body’s tissues, including your joints, arteries, brain, and eyes.

When calcium builds up in certain areas in the body, it virtually always has to do with chronic inflammation, which overstimulates the healing mechanism that occurs.

It’s vital to address the inflammation in your body to avoid calcium build-up.

1:15.9

Most people talk about bone health, which is true, and preventing muscle cramps, which is absolutely true,

1:22.9

because you need calcium as a part of the contraction mechanism in your muscles, as well as magnesium

1:30.0

for relaxation, but mainly calcium as the contraction part of a muscle cycle.

1:37.5

But also blood clotting, you need calcium from blood clotting, but it has another very,

1:42.7

very important purpose that I want to bring up which has to do with

1:47.3

supporting your cellular membranes okay and specifically cell signaling and another interesting

1:54.8

point is in a plant calcium has everything to do with supporting the membranes of a plant cell.

2:01.6

So without calcium, you get all sorts of holes in the membrane,

2:07.6

and it makes things fragile, and it creates all sorts of additional issues.

2:12.6

But with our body, it really makes that cellular membrane very, very very strong and it regulates the resealing

2:20.0

mechanism the repair mechanism of that cell membrane which is a bilayer or double layer of fat
