But we got Rod Martin coming on to talk about what happened at the SBC Convention coming up.

As we think about church councils or church gatherings, not just your local Sunday gathering,

but ecumenical councils or not ecumenical, but even councils like SBC.

You know, they pretend they aren't Presbyterian,

but every year, once a year they're Presbyterian when they all meet.

You know, one of the things that God does,

when church councils come together,

God is moving.

You think of Acts chapter 15, the first council,

the first example of a church council coming together.

God works through councils. God works through when church leaders meet. And so don't be surprised that the New York

Times covers these things, that big media covers these things, legacy media covers these things,

because in some sense, they know these church councils are more important than we do. they know these church councils are more important

than we do they know these church meetings are more important than we think uh but god moves in
