But with let's get into the Word of God. On Sunday mornings, we're going through

1 Corinthians chapter by chapter, verse by verse. And today our text will be

verses 8 through 10 in 1 Corinthians 12. So once you find your way there if you're

able, I'll ask you to stand. You can follow along as I read. First

Corinthians chapter 12 verses 8 through 10. The Apostle Paul by the Holy Spirit writes, to one,

there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means

of the same Spirit, to another verse 9, faith by the same spirit, to another gifts of healing

by that one spirit, to another verse 10, miraculous powers, to another prophecy,

to another distinguishing between spirits, or as some of your translations render it, discernment

of spirits. To another, speaking in different kinds of tongues and to still another the

interpretation of tongues let's pray if you would join with me and we'll ask

God's blessing on our understanding loving Heavenly Father would you at this

time settle our hearts and enable us by the Holy Spirit

to focus our attention completely and only and solely upon you and your Word that we might

hear clearly and concisely without any distractions that which you would desire

to speak into our lives.

Lord, it's with great anticipation that we look to you to do just that.

So will you, Lord? We're asking you in Jesus' name. Amen. You can be seated. Thank you.
