Today, we're going to be talking about what Elon Musk gets wrong about remote work.

Megan, you talked to our business accelerator clients, our coaching clients about this

recently.

Why do you think this is an issue today?

Well, we've certainly gone through a seismic shift in how we work and how we think about

work.

I mean, I don't think there's any going back to pre-2020 to that time when the majority

of people did not work remotely, when the majority of people worked in the office and maybe

had never had an exposure to working remotely.

And so I think on the other side of COVID, here we are, you know, 2022, almost everyone,

especially knowledge workers, have had the experience of working remotely.

And there's attention because it's now, you know, safe to return to the office.

We have these office buildings and employers are thinking themselves, okay, what am I going

to do about this?

Meanwhile, the employees have had the benefits of working remotely, which we're going to

get into here in a little bit.

And so I think that this is an inherent tension between what oftentimes employers think

makes sense and what employees want for their lives.
