Do people look at you and know that you belong to Jesus?

Today we're going to spend just a few minutes talking about what it means to mark an arrow

in order to identify to whom the arrow belongs.

Our kids have been given to us, according to Scripture, like arrows in the hands of a warrior

and today we're going to talk a little bit about what it means to craft a legacy that

lasts a lifetime.

Today I'm glad you guys have joined me.

I've got a question for you today and I wanted to just really think about this because whether

you're a parent or a grandparent, you have influence, even if you're not a parent, you

have influence in the lives of the people around you.

You guys have heard me say many times here at the show that mom and dad, you are your

child's first teacher that you are their first line of defense, the first person that

tells them the truth, the one that helps them identify what it means to see the truth and

walk in the truth.

You're their first example, but you will not be their last.

It's really important that we understand what the Bible says about training up children

in the way that they should go.

John 1335 says, by this, all men will know that you are my disciples.

How that you have love one for another love should be the mark of every Christian.

We should be known for our love.
