At long last, welcome to the barnyard with Steve Robertson, as always.

I am your good friend and host Steve Robertson here on the Thursday edition of the yard. I hoped to do the show yesterday. That was a plan. I had a lot going on. You know, I've been trying to catch up all these baseball signingies. I forgot that I had an ink therapy appointment. nothing major, you know, just some touchups and cleanups, that sort of stuff,

you know, a little filler, that sort of stuff. But yeah, not to major. But yeah, so I had to go do that.

And by the time I got back and took care of my dogs and I was absolutely exhausted anyway.

Anytime I get a tattoo, it kind of takes a lot out of me it does I guess it's the

emotional energy that you exert at moments like that and I've been in the chair so many

times you think I'd be used to it but so we punted to today we will be back tomorrow

and I've got a lot to say a lot that we're going to talk about today some of it

may hurt some feelings and that's okay. That's the thing that I've

learned about that is that it is possible for you to get your feelings hurt and then continue on with

life. That's a philosophy I think many people need to fully embrace. If you haven't heard it too,

I was on the message board genius podcast. I loved that Twitter account. I was so

honored. They'd be me and say, hey, Steve, we'd love to have you on the show. I'd jump at the

opportunity. And we recorded that, I guess, Tuesday night and it came out this morning. It's episode

77 with Messaged Board Genius. And it was a great time. I love the account and one of the reasons

that I do is because it kind of provides, as I sit on the show, some comedic value, right?

It's like sometimes in the middle of our message board community, you know, you kind of get

used to the insanity that exists sometimes. And then when somebody else kind of takes it out of

that world and puts it on Twitter it becomes something of its own and you kind of have to laugh at it

we've had some posts on there you know our rival teams have some of our competitors have there's

always a little something but uh i love the account i love it when uh the meltdown, like all of a sudden somebody gets down in the ballgame,

they've got no business losing or halftime.
