Three minutes after ten is the time. Do you know what my favourite story of the day is? Culled from the current affairs agenda. You've heard Nick refer to it, I think, already. But it is a peach of a story. I think I might be at my least woke. Do you know what woke means? Woke is kind of being what we used to call write on. Well that's unfair because that sounds like a pejorative.

It means alive to the discriminations and prejudices that pollute our planet.

I'm at my least woke on stories like this, cultural appropriation and similar.

So feel free to school me a little later in the program about why it's not ridiculous,

utterly ridiculous, to suggest that only Italians should cook Italian food in public, in restaurants,

and similarly only Southeast Asian people should prepare Southeast Asian food.

Genuinely, I love subjects like this, because I can feel my hekels,

my hekels of mischief rising.

Feel free to dampen them down after 12 today.
