In his live report from Gaza City, he says, I can finally take off my heavy helmet and vest that have exhausted me throughout the war.

He spoke from many Palestinians as they reacted to this long-awaited news. It's good. Thank God. The ceasefire reassured us and brought us joy. Thank God. It's nice and filled with happiness. May it last forever, God willing.

We are here happy with this victory because the Palestinian people simply want their freedom.
