It's the questions that my kids have asked as well, and many people have asked it.

It's just a good question. Why did the lord put the tree of the knowledge of good and evil there in the garden and you know as a result you know eve eats from the tree adam eats from the tree and everything goes downhill from there um well let me let me just look at the passage. Let's look at Genesis 2, verse 7. The Lord God formed man of the dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils,

the breath of life, and man became a living creature. And the Lord God planted a garden in Eden in the east,

and there he put the man whom he had formed.

And out of the ground the Lord God made to spring up every tree that is pleasant to the sight

and good for food, the tree of life was in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge
