My question is concerning the creation. God created the earth in six days. Is that a literal

six days or six thousand years, seeing that a thousand years has one day to the Lord? Thank you.

Terrence, thank you for that question.

A controversial one, actually.

I mean, there are a lot of debates about what is a day in Genesis 1.

Are we talking about periods of time?

Are we talking about 6.24-hour day?

So let me just give you the different views that are out there. And I think that

these views are within the bounds of, you know, faithful Christian belief. That is to say that

we don't have to, we don't have to divide over, you know, whether or not somebody takes one

viewer or another. The first is the six, 24hour view, which is that those days there in Genesis

1, you know, when Moses is writing and he says in verse 5, God called the light day and the

darkness he called night, and there was evening and there was morning the first day. That's

repeated again and again in Genesis chapter 1, that that day there is referring to six day, well, in particular six days,
