0:11.5	I'm Patrick Miller. And I'm Keith Simon. Right now we're
0:14.7	learning what it looks like to follow Jesus by working our way through the
0:18.4	Gospel of Luke. It was an ordinary day at Luro Park Zoo. Children are running around from exhibit to exhibit. People are laughing. They're enjoying fine weather. It was all ordinary until a gorilla escaped.
0:32.0	The first park employee to see the uncaged gorilla acted quickly.
0:35.0	You know, great training was ready to go.
0:38.0	He finds a tranquilizer gun and from a long distance he takes his shot.
0:42.0	But somewhat to a surprise the gorilla it
0:44.6	doesn't kind of slowly lumber to a stop and fall over now the gorilla just
0:49.6	falls over immediately the second that it shot.
0:52.9	And so he slowly approaches the gorilla.
0:55.7	And as he gets closer and closer,
0:57.7	he realizes that it's a really small gorilla.
1:00.9	No, it's not a small gorilla. It's a 35-year-old man in a gorilla suit.
1:07.0	Note to self, don't do Halloween at the zoo. It was a bizarre case of mistaken identity and in today's story from Luke he wants to tell us a similar story a story about someone who people mistake his identity for the wrong thing.
1:24.0	He wants to tell us about two cases actually of mistaken identity.
1:27.0	And it starts in Luke 18 when a rich young synagogue ruler comes to Jesus, and he asks him what he needs to do to inherit
1:35.2	eternal life. Not a bad question, right? And Jesus tells this upstanding young
1:40.0	citizen to obey the 10 Commandments.
1:43.0	And when the man explains that he's already
1:45.0	obeyed all of these down to the finest point,
1:47.0	Jesus tells him this. This is Luke 1822.
