Hello and welcome back to practicing human, the podcast where every day we're getting a little better at life.

0:07.0

I'm your host, Corey Muscarra.

0:09.0

In today's episode, we're going to talk about the concept of non-striving.

0:16.1

More to come on that in a moment.

0:18.1

First, let's settle in together with the sound of the bells. Okay, so I'm going to talk about non-striving in two contexts because I do think there are some

2:19.3

with it, or else we wouldn't do it in the first place.

2:23.3

But the practice, when we sit down or walk or lay down,

2:29.1

and we're just being with our direct experience, really no other agenda to get anywhere other than more here.

2:40.0

So let's talk about non-striving then in the context of real life, or we could say outside of meditation.

2:52.0

And this at first glance... of

2:55.0

outside of meditation and this at first clients can feel very different
