Hey, ladies. Welcome back. We are continuing our discussion on

biblical hospitality. Last week, or in the last episode, we were talking about what does it mean

to practice radically ordinary hospitality? I shared a couple of different stories on

how God's been convicting my heart and challenging me to look at hospitality a little bit

differently. And looking outside the box at how we can extend hospitality in unusual seasons or unusual times. And it's something

that I've been thinking about a lot. And I've been reading a lot about hospitality lately.

And hospitality is something that I've had a really big passion for for years. And it's been

interesting and challenging the way that I feel like God has been challenging

me lately on hospitality.

So as I've been entering into a lot of conversations the last couple of weeks about

unusual hospitality and how we can kind of think outside the box when it comes to that,

I was reminded to get back to the root of what is hospitality. What is our purpose?

Why are we extending it? And really thinking about what the Bible says about hospitality and

service and how we can serve one another, both within the church and within

our communities. And so in today's episode, we're kind of going back to the basics. What does the

Bible say about hospitality? And we're going to look at a few different examples from both the Old

Testament and the New Testament on extending biblical
