Good morning. It's four minutes after ten. You are listening to LBC with me, James O'Brien.

And we will begin, I think, with I haven't checked

0:22.7

on Gary's maths. I have to confess. I have no reason to doubt him, but he's done a sum, which I think

0:29.5

roughly estimates how many people could conceivably be vaccinated in the course of this radio diversion, the 140 jabs a minute figure,

0:42.3

which was trumpeted quite rightly this weekend. I don't think it applies to every single, I think

0:49.1

1:39.8

It's believing what you want to believe rather than what is actually true. There are some

1:43.4

apparently legitimate concerns about vaccine supply and some suggestions that they are once again over-promising,

1:51.5

but you can only go with what's in front of you and the numbers as it stands are spectacularly

1:57.6

and splendorously good. So well done everybody.

2:02.0

The numbers, of course, regarding new cases,

2:04.7

most deaths and deaths per million of the population

2:08.0

are the polar opposite.

But as I say, if we are truly to dismantle
