Amy, what's your question for Adriel?

I have a question for Pastor Adriel about what he can say or what his opinion about

the gesture of worship.

Because during the Old Testament time and even the New Testament time,

when the people are worshipping by bowing down or kneeling down or falling on the ground.

But now in 21st century Christian, it's kind of like it's fading away.

You know, most Christian churches are no longer doing that.

So I want to hear his opinion.

Amy, I love this question because I'm with you.

Certainly the Bible does speak about gestures in worship. In fact, prayer, the common gesture with regard to prayer was standing. One, I mean, oftentimes we pray when we're sitting down or lying down in our beds, but throughout biblical history, redemptive history, the primary posture of prayer was standing, lifting up hands.

And of course, you hear about this in the New Testament.

You see examples of it.

In the New Testament, there is also kneeling, bowing.

You see this throughout the Psalms, right?
