But Alvarez came back up here like a new man and he was hitting and it was great. So that's why it stinks that he gets another injury. That was before this injury. So now he's dealing with two injuries, both, you know, dealing with fingers and thumbs and pinky toes and pinky fingers and whatever the case may be. If the guys at the bottom of the order are hitting, you can... Left hand, by the way. Left hand, got it. So if you can get production out of the bottom of the order, you don't miss

hit because that's just not the strength of their games. We know they're A plus plus defensively,

offensively, not so much. But if this team continues to put up a ton of runs and they do get

some production out of the bottom of the order, you could withstand not getting Alvarez back in the lineup. But you would obviously love to have them. Yeah. So we'll see what the Mets plan is here. Ultimately, though, I think you have enough other guys in this lineup. Obviously, Viantos heating up has been a big part of it. You feel bad for Francisco Alvarez, but you got to just carry on. You got to move on. This is not a backbreaking injury to the New York Mets. If you're listing the most important players in this lineup, he doesn't even rank top five at this point in terms of guys you absolutely need to produce. And you're getting enough. It's a chance. I'm not telling you that Alvarez doesn't have best option.

No, but I think that Alvarez, early on, I think when he went down, I think the fear amongst my fellow Met fans was that, oh boy, this is going to shorten the lineup.
