What does Ian Rappaport mean when he said fireworks when it comes to Washington and

with respect to what he said, I don't really have a guess

one way or the other as to whether or not that is an informed opinion versus just, you know,

a hunch based on the obvious that's out there. Everybody knows Washington has a ton of needs.

Everybody understands that this is kind of a big year. Everybody knows Washington has a ton of needs. Everybody understands

that this is kind of a big year. Everybody understands the quarterbacks on a rookie deal.

Everybody understands, you know, certainly defensively, they need a lot. As mentioned, you know,

they have 30-some-od roster spots to fill.

They're going to fill some of those spots with some of the players that were on the team

last year and are unrestricted free agents, but they're going to fill a lot of them from

outside that group.

But I would certainly expect that of the 29 unrestricted free agents and the three restricted free agents,

you know, 32 players, I would say 10 to 15 of them more likely than not are going to be back.

You know, many of them are not going to be big money spends.

But they're going to, you know, count as free agents added just for the purposes

of understanding their cap situation, because I looked this up on Spot Track yesterday,

they have the fifth most cap space currently in the NFL, but that's going to grow,

because we know that a Latimore release is coming

and coming soon more likely than not.
