He is extremely active in the cryptocurrency community.

He and his team have written several influential white papers and even blog posts that have

changed the trajectory of cryptocuracies. They've also been behind some improvements to the code

in Bitcoin and Ethereum. He's also co-director of the Initiative for

Cryptocuracies and Contracts, an initiative put together by professors at Cornell, Cornell Tech, Berkeley,

and other universities to help advance the adoption of cryptocuracies and smart contracts.
