Summary

Ephesians 5:15–21 Christians often sense a gap between the life they’re living and the life Scripture describes—a Spirit-empowered life marked by joy, wisdom, and self-control. The problem is rarely a lack of desire. It’s a lack of understanding about what “being filled with the Spirit” actually means. From Ephesians 5:15–21, Pastor Chuck Swindoll explains Paul’s command to “be filled with the Spirit”—what it is, what it is not, and what it looks like in daily life through speech, song, thankfulness, and mutual submission. Stop settling for a half-lived Christian life. Learn what it means to be controlled by the Spirit and walk each day in the fullness He provides!
