but we had some big results yesterday,

especially in London and the West Midlands.

So I think on Friday night, it ended ended in I would not say a great place for the Tories

but I think they felt they had a positive message in the sense that Ben Houch had won Tease Valley,

Labour sources suggesting Andy Street would probably win the West Midlands and

there was much excited chatter about Susan Hall. Now we fast forward to

Saturday and the results took a bit longer than expected, hence this podcast coming out on Sunday.

But I think the narrative has got worse for the Tories because effectively, despite some excited

chatter, Susan Hall was not close when it came to defeating

Cadee Khan.

Cadee Khan won comfortably in London.

Now, she did outperform some polls such as a U-Gov poll, but I think probably where expectations were when everyone started suggesting that maybe she could pull off a complete shock victory.

Men they're even doing 11 points behind Sadiq Khan is now probably compared to that
