complaint I heard and now here is that people have low thyroid symptoms and register that complaint to their

provider so labs are done and they're told that their labs are normal so no thyroid

replacement is needed.

Since this is something I hear repeatedly,

I thought that some of my listeners may also

have had this same experience.

So I decided to share some tips that can help support your thyroid so it functions better for you.

Let's start by reviewing what the thyroid gland is and what it does.

It is a butterfly shaped gland that is

located on the front lower part of your neck. A normal sized thyroid gland is

one that you cannot see or feel. The gland secretes two thyroid

hormones. We'll call them for short T4 and T3. T3 is the active thyroid hormone that regulates the metabolism of every cell in the body.
