Summary
Romans 6:12-14 - Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. 13 Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness. 14 For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.

| 1:06.9 | resident of that country. Am I correct? You see, Paul is bringing up the issue of law for us again today in Romans chapter 6 verse 14 |
| 1:17.6 | To help us remember something he's already taught us back in chapter 5 |
| 1:23.2 | He taught us back in chapter five. He taught us back in chapter five |
| 1:25.3 | that we are now dead to the power of the law. |
| 1:30.4 | You see, the law's power over people is one of condemnation. It's a law that points out |
| 1:38.2 | where you're sinning, what you're doing to transgress God's holy standards, but it gives you no power with which to reform |
| 1:48.3 | yourself or to do better. |
| 1:51.2 | It just says here's the line, You're not living up to this line. You're in trouble. |
| 1:56.7 | That's really what the law does. That's why the law, meaning the Old Testament law, is a law of condemnation. |
| 2:04.4 | It's just condemning us as sinners, which it rightly can do because none of us measure up |
