Romans nine today

and if we do then I'm going to issue in advance a congratulations to you

because four or so maybe longer weeks ago I told you that most churches

avoid Romans chapter 9 10 11 too controversial too hard to teach too difficult and

after all nobody's going to sit through a message on what

Romans 9, 10, 11 teaches.

And you've almost made it through the first chapter.

One third of your discipline is over shortly. Difficult stuff to

teach and you've hung in there and we've gone into some deep theology for sure.

Romans chapter 9 verses,

we're looking at a message that ends this chapter,

what do you have to say?

It's a question. I'll read verse 30 if you pick it up in

verse 31. What shall we say then that Gentiles who did not pursue

righteousness have attained to righteousness even the righteousness of faith.

Why because they did not seek it by faith, but as it were by the works of the law, for they stumbled at the stumbling stone.

As it is written, the whole of the name Zion of stumbling stone and a rock of offense,

and whoever believes on him will not be put to shame. and all God's people said,

Amen. You may be seated.
