So let me tell you a story.

Y'all, I'm old.

About 50 years ago, I was a kid in a candy store, just learning all about the world of metaphysics.

In my heart, I went to India with the Beatles.

I had friends who were just beginning to follow Meher Baba, whose teachings are still beautifully relevant today.

I learned about magic from Tolkien and Mary Stewart, and I knew there were many more pieces to this cosmic soup,

but I wasn't sure how to find them, whatever they were.

Granny Jean the Palm Reader, Joel the crystallologist, and I began to explore this cosmic soup together.

Our resources were limited in the town in which we lived, but we were able to read Edgar Casey, Ruth Montgomery, Gene Dixon, Madame Blavatsky,

and we learned about St. Germain. We had a nodding acquaintance with astrology,

numerology, and to row. We only had three books, one of which was entitled, The Encyclopedia of Ancient and Forbidden Knowledge.

Yikes.

But we had music, what was then called New Age Music.

I think now today it's called spa music.

So one day at work, I was spouting off all this stuff I was learning,

and a coworker said to me, just what do you believe?

I didn't have an answer. I had a zillion questions, but no true deep answers. The question she asked was

beyond powerful. What, among all the concepts that I was learning about,

rang true for me. How could I know? I realized I needed to learn to discern what my truths were,

my beliefs, my creed. Up until this point, I just tossed all this stuff around into a big pot and stirred it
