Today, we are in first Peter one versus 24 and 25.

And the devotional is titled the ever lasting word and it says, as the scriptures say, people

are like grass.

Their beauty is like a flower in the field.

The grass withers and the flower fades, but the word of the Lord remains forever.

And that word is the good news that was preached to you first Peter one versus 24 and 25.

The love letter from God says, beloved child.

My word is everlasting and will bring great joy and purpose to your days.

Don't be afraid of aging or death.

As your body ages, I will help you grow in your spirit at the same time.

As you look in the mirror and see yourself growing old, don't fight it.

I want you to find what matters most.

A life lived for me.

Aging is a reminder that this life is temporary.

In the years I give you, you have a chance to leave a mark of my love on this world.

Preach my good news so you will have a beautiful heart.
