And today we're talking about what we want out of a championship golf course.

Here to discuss that with me is Andy Johnson, who is fresh off a weekend at Pebble Beach

for the U.S. women's open. And in fact, just went to my old favorite coffee shop

in Pacific Grove book works. Andy, how is the coffee?

It's pretty good. I was disappointed. I was a little too early for the bookstore to be open.

I was thinking I was going to peruse and maybe pick up a new novel.

But in a last, the bookstore was closed and I will have to make do with the books

that are currently piled up in my house waiting for me to read them.

A new novel, huh? You're going to look in the fiction section and find some imaginative exploration at book works.

Yeah, I was going to step outside my comfort zone.

I was going to move, move past the pile of golf architecture books and maybe get something that I really,

you know, a real page turner.

I'll tell you this, they don't have a very extensive golf architecture section at book works.

So novels might be the way to go when you're there.
