Nancy Guthrie, 84 years old, mother of today's show host, Savannah Guthrie, was last seen

on Saturday, January 31st at her Catalina Foothills home.

But when relatives checked in on her the next morning, she was gone.

And something inside the home suggested danger. What began as a missing person report quickly turned urgent.

Authorities declared the residents a crime scene, noting that the evidence strongly suggests Nancy did not leave on her own.

Blood confirmed to be hers was discovered on the property, and investigators say both security

cameras and her pacemakers' digital monitoring were disabled during the night she vanished.

Now the FBI has stepped in and recovered images of a potential suspect giving detectives new leads.

With every passing hour, the search intensifies and the nation watches anxiously for any sign of Nancy Guthrie's whereabouts.
