Father in prayer, let's join our faith together. Father God, we thank you for your word. We thank you for your

goodness, who you are, and who you are to us. Lord, we ask for direction, revelation, an

utterance tonight, Lord. We pray that it be your words and not the ideas and opinions of man,

but the very true words of God that come forth. And we open our hearts up to you

tonight. Change our lives. Change our thinking. Motivate us in a different way. Give us light on your

love and on your goodness and help us to go further with you than we've ever been before. And we pray

that we'll change others as you change us. And we thank you for it. And we thank ever been before. And we pray that we'll change others as you change us.

And we thank you for it.

And we give you glory in advance for every good thing that will happen in us and through us.

Well, let's open up our Bibles to Isaiah 40.

So that's always a good sign because we don't want my way, right?

Isaiah 40, verse 31.

And let's look at it in the amplified Bible. Amplified, but those who wait

for the Lord, who expect, look for, and hope in him. You know, and so often we look at that

and we look at wait and, you know, people say serve him and yes, you want to serve him. You know, and so often we look at that and we look at wait and, you know, people say serve him

and yes, you want to serve him.

But truly that means to expect.
