My name is Jay Warner Wallace.

I'm really glad to have you with us. As we finish up finally, our series on the nature and historicity of Jesus.

When I first started this series months ago, I had maybe, I guess, maybe eight or so podcast that I thought

would be important to podcast related to this topic. And along the way, I think I ended up

writing four or five more that I thought were also important. And so finally, we're

finishing up today.

This podcast we're doing today is really largely the result of an interview I did with Craig Hayeson several weeks ago, months ago, on Stand to Reason Radio, where I was guest hosting for Greg.

And Craig came on and said he made a good point. One of the lead characters in his fictional book is a

professor and the professor challenges his group of students by telling them in a kind of a

survey of world religions that they owe it to themselves to look at Christianity first before

any other world religion when doing a survey or a little bit of research on all

the different kinds of world religions out there.

And of course, that certainly sounds like a self-serving approach for all.

A Christian is offering that as the way to go forward.
