The I'm going to Okay, well, let's just, let's just pick up from here and get to the get to the point for the presentation this evening.

Again, my apologies for being a technological cluts.

I can't seem to figure out this technology,

but in any case, I decided to talk about, you know, the question that we all face every now and then what do I write about.

And it's not a giant obstacle, but it can be, you know, an obstacle nonetheless.

So next slide, please.

You know, I've yet to meet any indigenous writer who didn't know what he or she wanted to write about.

And we all have an issue of topic that, I mean, it's, you know is that is important to us and some of us feel very passionate about you know some some events some person some aspect of history some aspect of our culture that that we want the world to know about.

And I've never had the problem of figuring out what to write about.

It just for me, it was a matter of picking out what topic or what issue to focus on and you know rarely have I have ever experienced the whole thing about writers block.

I've always been able to find a word somehow.

And if there was any kind of block for me

is because I was choosing about what to write.

So, I mean, there's a variety of topics. I mean, we can be as

specific or as general as we want, but these are the things that came to mind when I

was thinking about doing this presentation and you can see them on the screen hopefully.

And these are the issues that are here in front of us now.

Some of them are new, some of them have always been here as part of our contemporary

situation or as part of our historical situation.

And right now there are some things that are in the forefront of the news of our thinking of what's going on with us on a reservation or in the urban setting.

And the one that comes to mind. reservation or in an urban setting.
