Oh, gentlemen. All right. So I was texting yesterday, kind of giving you a little bit of a background on it. Oh boy, I think I already know who you are.

I met my biological father on an airplane in El Paso, Texas. All right. Now I'm the one that texted you back and said, wait a minute, was this coincidence?

Was this on purpose? And you said it was purely coincidence, purely coincidence. So I was working out of town and we finished work early and I was able to catch an earlier flight to get home sooner.

And so this was back when Southwest, I guess, had like open seating and stuff like that. So I got on. I was the last person to get on the plane. And of course, the only two seats available are middle seats.

So, you know, I'm scanning the two people that I could be sitting next to and I'm like, you know, this guy looks like he's pretty decent. You know, I'll sit next to him.

So I sit down and I'm sitting there and this guy keeps looking at me and, you know, I figured he's probably just wants to chat. And so finally I started chatting with him a little bit and he says, you know, ask where I lived and I told him, you know, the city and he goes, oh, I know where that's at.

Anyways, and he says your name Shane. And then he says my last name and I'm shocked.

Like, what are you thinking? Is this David Blaine? Like, what do you want to go into your head when someone like doesn't freak you out or you nervous? What?

I'm kind of shocked, but at the same time, I'm like, well, he knows my name, my first name at least.

Did you believe that you had a difference biological father or did you never know who your father was? What was the lead into this?

So I there was always a possibility between two different guys.

And that's what your mom told you that.

Yes, my mom told me that there was two different guys, the guy that I knew that I was raised by.

I took his name, everything like that. And whenever he passed away, I just never wanted to see if I could find, you know, find out if he truly was my dad or if it was this other guy, just because the timeframe between my, my mom and these two guys.

And so I've always just been raised as my dad, you know, as his son.

So I met this, you know, and he's like, yeah, my name's Scott. And I'm like, holy crap. You know, this is the, this is the guy.

So you knew immediately that he was one of the other potential guys.

Yes. Did he mention your mom's by name?

Oh, yeah. Yeah. No, he knew exactly who I was. Apparently, I had never seen pictures of him, but he had seen me pictures of me because I guess my mom stayed in contact with him just over the years.

And would send him pictures. And I'm looking at this guy. I'm like, holy, this guy looks like me. Like we're like the same body style. You know, I mean, you know, facial features look the same.

This is crazy. So I kind of just became friends with him a little bit. You know, we would chit chat here and there, like on Facebook. And I finally told him about five, six years ago, I said, hey, look.
