Hello and welcome to not another one, our pre-election special.

A very moving moment for us, lot, because we started this at the beginning of the election,

and here we are at the end. But the good news for all of you is we are not ending with the election

campaign. But this is our last one. It's me, Steve Richards, Ian Martin, Miranda Green, and

Tim Montgomery reflecting on this strange election campaign. But we're going to be back. I'll tell

you now, give you advance notice on Saturday with our take on the result and that opening day,

the Friday, when the government will be formed. But that's ages away compared with what we've got

to reflect on now. Now, Tim is out on the campaign trail,

so he can't join us, but he's left his take on the, well, actually it's his prediction

on what he thinks is going to happen on Thursday. So we thought we would let Tim set the scene,

then we will respond to that.

And then we're going to look ahead

and reflect on what we can learn

from the election night

and the immediate hours that follows.
