All right. Last to get to here, we got to talk about LeBron's debut in Portland, where

the Lakers seem like they never win and that has continued. But first, let's get to

a little news. What we got?

Well, so it happened a couple of days ago now. I believe it was on Wednesday morning that

Mike Malone got an extension from the Denver Nuggets, a two-year contract extension.

Apparently they were concerned about the potentiality of him being a lame duck.

So he expired at the end of this year?

I'm not sure. Coaching contracts because there isn't necessarily a sport track or whatever

for it. I'm not off the top of my head. I'm not entirely sure.

Well, so usually it's a four minus one, right? So when was his first year? I want to

say he's three years in already. Yeah, he is. Because remember, he like wasn't starting

Yokech and then Yokech abords at the end of his first year.

This is his fourth season. 15-16 was his first year.

Okay, so this actually, and you never know too, like this could be a two-year extension

that again has a team option on it. So in the Denver ownership, never one to be particularly

interested in paying a coach. So yeah, maybe this is just all right. So he's not in the

lame duck year. But when they talk about the extension, I thought it was going to be three

years, four years or something, which seemed kind of crazy to me. But this is a little

bit more reasonable if you subscribe to the idea that you should never have a lame duck

coach, which I don't necessarily. But this is a decent head.

I mean, it's a hedge. My concern with it is that the nuggets by virtue of the other

moves they made. And overall, you know, the bigger scale stuff, Yokech, I have no problem
