It was meant to be a marquee matchup on national television that pitted the NWSL's two best team's against each other. Instead, the KC Current vs. the Orlando Pride was delayed over three hours due to extreme heat and the league's safety measures and planning have come under scrutiny once again.
On this week's Full Time Review, Jillian Sakovits is joined by Danielle Russell of supporters' group KC Blue Crew to take the listener inside the fan experience at CPKC Stadium and the league's official response. The Athletic's Melanie Anzidei then joins the podcast to discuss what could have been done differently, how the match itself played out, as well as what was the response from the players and coaches.
PLUS: Jillian gets you caught up on weekend of many ties but some big results in an all-California clash, the Houston Dash's big comeback in New Jersey, and a statement from the Washington Spirit fans in DC.
