Well, one of the ways that we can gauge

whether or not we're stressed is by watching how we react to surprises.

When you have an unexpected change,

do you have enough margin emotionally to absorb it,

or do you blow your stack?

I remember for me,

once our first year of marriage for Don at Night,

early in our marriage, we'd moved to a new town,

and we were trying to get home once late at night,

and we were at a gas.

And so we went to a gas station in Dallas,

and there was a long line to get gas.

Very weird, not a normal thing,

but suddenly we're finding ourselves in this queue

for every single pump waiting for gas, trying to get it,

and I'm waiting, waiting for cars.

Finally, it's our turn to go.
