You don't need to listen to many episodes of the show to get the hint that I am a bookworm.

I love to read. And I like to oscillate between nonfiction and fiction books. After reading

a pretty dense nonfiction book, I want to switch up to something fun. I want something sexy.

I want something spicy. And I'm here to recommend the second son series. The author in New York

Times bestseller, Emily Rath, is most well

known for a hockey romance series, the Jacksonville Rays, but she has switched to historical

regency romance. And the second book in the series is His Grace the Duke. This book showcases a

polyamorous relationship or a why choose romance, and it's sex positive and it's a steamy departure from the typical

historical romances. Her goal was to make a body positive, queer affirming spicy romance

that aims to showcase real bodies, relationships, and kinks. And it's a fun read. If you like books

by Alexis Hall, Sarah McLean, Tessa Dare, this is a great series for you.

This episode is still lovely even if you're not celebrating and listening to it later. But today is

November 27, 2025. It's one of my best friends' birthdays. Happy birthday, John. He's not here. He's on a

beautiful trip up north. And I think that's gorgeous. I'm in Los Angeles and my family's on

the East Coast, but one of my beautiful best friends,

Ms. Morgan Siskin, is hosting me. She did last year as well. She's really taken me under

her wing and I'm feeling really grateful. I also decided for whatever reason I'm going to wake

up at 5.30 this morning, drive to Van Nuys and run a 10K. I did it with my friend

Drew. And we've run races together. We've run a race together. I can't even exaggerate.

We ran a half marathon, Mother's Day, 2023. This was significantly easier. I cannot say enough
