We shall be turning our attention imminently to all sorts of subjects,

not least a couple that Nick has just touched upon.

The firefighters being called upon to fight crime as well as fires,

head teachers, getting the final say on those LGBT lessons as opposed to parents, as we've discussed many times on this program.

It's not a happy truth, but it is a truth nonetheless that the children most in need of intervention from teachers are the ones whose parents are, for reasons good or ill, keen to keep them in the dark, to keep them enslaved to

ignorance. And speaking of ignorance, I know nothing really about how it would feel as a man to

be under pressure about the way that I look. Luckily, of all the things I worry and fret about,

my physical appearance has never actually been one of them.

You can probably tell by the state I'm in when I appear in public.

But the star of the bodyguard Richard Madden, who is a very handsome man, I think, by anybody's measure,

has talked of the pressure to have the perfect body.

He speaks of on screen specifically, but obviously it's an

observation that moves as it does for women from the silver screen to the streets of wherever

it is that you live. Brexit, okay, how do you want to do it today? I mean, this is, you know, I think you could make a case for saying that this is one of the most important days in our history of living memory in many ways. Because our destiny is in the balance.
