Hey, brother, thanks for that question. So, when we die as believers, as those who are in Christ,

our souls are immediately in the presence of the Lord, perfected in holiness. We refer to this as the

presence of God, is not the ultimate resting place for believers. What we're looking forward to

is the new creation, the resurrection of our bodies that Paul talked about in 1st Corinthians chapter 15 and the restoration of the entire cosmos, we might say. So salvation is not just about the forgiveness of sins. That's at the very heart of it, But Jesus, through his redemptive work, was also restoring
